Brent fell below $69 a barrel at the beginning of July. On Thursday morning, it reached $98.76 – a rise of around 44% in three weeks and its highest level since early June. The week began with Saudi tankers turning away from Bab el-Mandeb. It ended with a confirmed Houthi strike, falling Kazakh production and oil closing in on $100.
